Welcome to the Al Ain Rugby Club

We are pleased to welcome you to the Al Ain Amblers Rugby Football Club. The club was originally founded by some adventurous ex-pats in 1984. In 2008 we moved to an outstanding new facility under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohd. bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Our world-class facilities include; three floodlit rugby pitches, a well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts and children's play area. Our bar and restaurant have become a major gathering place for the expat community of Al Ain, which is the second city of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. We currently run rugby for adults and children ranging in age from Under 6 to Veterans, including regular social touch rugby.

The Club is situated within the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club immediately southwest of the Tawam Hospital roundabout. Access to the facility is from the first roundabout south of Tawam hospital on Tawam Street.

Introduction

Although Rugby is an integral part of the Club, with more than 7 youth teams, several men's teams (including 1st XV, Veterans, 7's and 10's) and a thriving girls team, there is also much more on offer. There are soccer, Gaelic Football, diving and basketball clubs, a state of the art gymnasium with panoramic views over the sports pitches, a 25m swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, children's play area and regular social events held throughout the year. The Club prides itself on being a family focused facility, catering for all sports enthusiasts, and it is continually striving to not only enhance the existing facilities, but to also develop new facilities and services for the members to enjoy.
